About Mount Analog.
A practice for attention and awareness.
Mount Analog brings together meditation, reflection, and simple daily practices to help you meet life with greater clarity, presence, and choice.
Our attention is constantly being pulled away.
Notifications, feeds, messages, news, and work—an endless stream of things asking to be noticed.
The consequence is not simply distraction. It is how easily we can move through life without fully noticing it: replaying what has happened, anticipating what comes next, and reacting before we have had space to choose.
Awareness offers another way.
Meditation is the practice. Awareness is what we carry into life.
As awareness develops, we begin to notice thoughts, emotions, and habits without being completely carried away by them. We see more clearly. We respond more deliberately. We create a little more freedom in how we live.
The practice does not end when the timer does.
Practice. Reflect. Return.
Practice. Sit, breathe, and train your attention.
Reflect. Capture what you notice and recognise patterns over time.
Return. Bring greater awareness back into the rest of your day.
Designed to support your practice—not compete for your attention.
Mount Analog is intentionally simple. No feed to keep up with and no endless library to browse. Just carefully considered tools for meditation, reflection, breathing, and understanding the shape of your practice over time.
Less to consume. More to practise.
Why Mount Analog?
Mount Analog takes its name from René Daumal’s unfinished novel about a mountain that cannot be found on any map.
It represents a journey that must be undertaken inwardly: the gradual path of attention, awareness, and self-discovery.
The summit is not somewhere else. The practice is learning to recognise what is already here.
Built from practice.
Mount Analog is being created by Zach Warren—a product designer, meditator, and long-distance cyclist—out of a belief that awareness deserves the same care and craft as the technologies competing for our attention.
